Site Manager Opening

The Woodstock Farm Festival seeks an experienced site manager for the 2017 season of our weekly farmer's market which is held on Wednesday afternoons from May 31- October 18, 2017. The hours are directed by the daylight as the market is open from 3:30 until dusk, but from June - August, the required hours are generally from 2:00 PM - 9:00 PM and then they get a bit shorter as the daylight begins to wane in the fall months.

The job involves heavy lifting, including set-up and break down of tents and picnic tables. Other specific tasks include putting out signs, directing and organizing vendors, helping to remove parked cars from the site, controlling traffic and troubleshooting to ensure a peaceful, well-run market experience for our vendors and customers.

This position works with our market manager to set up and manage the farmer's market site each week. Our ideal applicant is friendly, organized, self-directed, physically fit, calm, and able to work well with others.

This position is for an independent contractor and pays $2,900/season.

Please submit a letter of inquiry and resume to Deb Tankard ( and do not hesitate to ask any questions you may have.
